Important: All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd., our authorized payment processor and merchant of record. This policy should be read in conjunction with Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and Conditions. Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of Paddle on a case-by-case basis and may be refused if evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior is found.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
- Technical Issues: If our service is unavailable or experiencing significant technical problems that prevent you from accessing your purchased features for more than 48 consecutive hours, your exclusive remedy is either replacement of the service or refund of the price paid, as determined by Paddle.
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same service due to a processing error on our end or Paddle's payment system.
- Service Not Delivered: If you purchased a premium analysis but did not receive the promised deliverables within the specified timeframe (typically 24-48 hours) due to technical problems or system failures.
- Unauthorized Charges: If charges were made to your account without your authorization or due to fraudulent activity.
- Pre-order Cancellations: If you pre-ordered a service, you may request a refund for any reason until the content is delivered, after which this standard refund policy applies.
3. Consumer Rights and Cancellation
If you are a consumer (purchasing for personal use), you have specific rights:
- 14-Day Cancellation Right: You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day after completion of the transaction.
- Digital Content Exception: Your right to cancel does not apply to digital content (CV analyses) that you have started to download, stream, or otherwise acquire and to services which you have had the benefit of.

- Reimbursement: If cancellation is valid, we will reimburse all payments within 14 days using the same payment method, without any fees.

- Completed Analyses: Once your CV/resume analysis has been successfully generated and delivered, refunds will not be provided based on dissatisfaction with the results.
- Subscription Services: Monthly or annual subscription fees after the service period has begun, except in cases of technical issues preventing access.
- Consumable Credits: Analysis credits that have been used to generate reports or insights.
- Free Trial Upgrades: Services accessed during free trial periods that were subsequently converted to paid subscriptions.
4. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Completed Analyses: Once your CV/resume analysis has been successfully generated and delivered, refunds will not be provided based on dissatisfaction with the results.
- Subscription Services: Monthly or annual subscription fees after the service period has begun, except in cases of technical issues preventing access. There are no refunds on unused subscription periods.
- Consumable Credits: Analysis credits that have been used to generate reports or insights.
- Free Trial Upgrades: Services accessed during free trial periods that were subsequently converted to paid subscriptions.
- Wire Transfer Payments: Orders paid via wire transfer are not eligible for refunds, except in cases where the transaction amount is above $100/£100/€100, at Paddle's discretion.

Paid subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. To cancel your subscription, contact us at [email protected] at least 48 hours before the end of your current billing period. Your cancellation will take effect at the next payment date, and you will continue to have access to premium features until that time.

If you've been charged sales tax (VAT, GST, etc.) on your purchase and are registered for sales tax in the country of purchase, you may be entitled to a refund of the sales tax amount. You must contact us within 60 days after completing the purchase with a valid sales tax code for your country. All refund requests received after 60 days will not be processed.
